Immunity Raw Chocolate
Having these chocolates on hand as a healthy snack is not only tasty but gives you immune support, through powerful ingredients like - cacao, coconut oil, superfoods…namely Medicinal Mushrooms (adaptogens), and of course the incredible On Guard blend!
Here is the recipe!
Melt cacao butter and coconut oil first on low heat (TM heat 50, speed 2, 5 minutes) or using the double boiler method (see below). Then add in cacao powder, maple syrup, and salt, mixing well to form a smooth glossy batter. The longer you mix, the better the chocolate flavour, texture, and consistency.
1 cup (120g) cacao butter
1/4 cup (45g) coconut oil
1 cup (100g) organic cacao powder
1/4 cup (70g) maple syrup
4 - 6 Drops of On Guard essential oil
Optional tsp of any superfood
Pinch of pink salt
DOUBLE BOILER METHOD
Simply place 1 to 2 cups of water in a small to medium-sized saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Place a heatproof bowl on top of your saucepan with the coconut oil and cacao butter. Stir as they melt.
Once they have combined, add the rest of the chocolate ingredients and mix well until they are all combined and have a nice glossy finish. Set in moulds or on a greaseproof paper-lined tray and allow to harden in the fridge for around 20-30 minutes. TIP Any addition of superfood powders will thicken the mix slightly.
