Our TOP 6 First Aid Oils to use around the home.

It's so reassuring to have these (and many others) around in case of life's little emergencies, knowing they are pure, tested and just the best quality we have EVER used! 

💧 Burns - LAVENDER OIL :
We call Lavender the swiss army knife of oils, we've seen it with our own eyes time and time again, how powerful Lavender can be for burns, sunburn, pot scalds, steam burns, just initially wash the area under cold water for a few minutes, then regularly apply a neat drop of Lavender, or make up an amazing cooling sunburn spray of Lavender, Peppermint and Frankincense with water and spray over the affected area with a neat trick of keeping that bottle in the fridge for a bad sunburn and it works a treat.

💧 Cuts & Scrapes - TEA TREE/MELALEUCA :
Being such a potent antiseptic agent, tea tree is out first when there is a cut or a scrape. Apply a drop neat to the cut after washing with water, or make up an "Owie Spray" Tea tree, Lavender and Frankincense & topped up with water (30ml spray bottle = 10 drops each)

💧 Bruises - LAVENDER:
Apply a drop to the skin where the bruise is, with just a drop of fractionated coconut oil and rub into the skin, repeat several times, it literally fades away bruises! Also add a drop of Cypress oil to your mix, as it helps with circulation and blood flow, or better still make up a roller bottle (5ml) 15-20 drops of Lavender & 10 drops of Cypress and top up with coconut oil)

💧 Insect Stings & Bites - PEPPERMINT & LAVENDER:
When initially stung or bitten by an insect, apply a neat drop of Lavender, or Peppermint or both to the area, reducing that stinging sensation quite quickly. Continue to apply diluted Lavender & Frankincense around the area too, to soothe and allow the swelling to go down. Also a blend called PURIFY is quite effective too.

💧 Immunity - ON GUARD & FRANKINCENSE:
Gargle, diffuse, sip in a warm drink, dilute with a carrier oil, rub onto the soles of the feet and apply to the throat and neck area…There are so many ways to use these two at the first signs of feeling blah, as these two are both food grade, one of our favourite tricks is to have 2 drops of each in a small glass of water, gargle it and swallow (bit spicy for kids so apply topically diluted instead) and repeat every few hours. Plus diffuse with Lemon, Easy Air Blend and On Guard for a powerful immunity boosting recipe.

💧 Head Tension - PEPPERMINT OIL & PAST TENSE BLEND:
Apply either Peppermint or Past Tense Blend to the temples and rub the oil away from the eyes, as it can sting if it gets in your eyes!!…if this happens, don't splash your eyes with water! Either apply milk, or fractionated coconut oil. Also rolling the Past Tense blend or applying a drop or two of Peppermint directly onto the back of the neck and rubbing it in, soothes a tense neck, and Past Tense Blend has that cooling sensation of Wintergreen oil (being one of the ingredients), that lasts for ages. Ahhhhhh

💧Essential oils work best if used regularly and in smaller amounts, as the purity and strength of these are so potent and effective you only need a little, but keep it up so your body can work on what it needs to, until you are feeling back to yourself! Drink lots of water also when using oils as they are doing their job and need water to help flush away toxins, build up and residue within the body.
